Q: Is your art done in oils, acrylics, or both?
A: All of my work is done in acrylics. I never use oils.
Q: Is your art done by hand on canvas or is some of it computer generated?
A: All art work purchased from me is original art done by hand.
Q: Do you stretch your artwork or is it sent rolled up?
A. My work is stretched when completed and mailed out already stretched. Frames can be added upon request for an additional fee.
Q: Do you ever go to someone’s home and paint from a live subject?
A: No. It would be very difficult and tedious for the subject. I work from photographs sent to me, whether it is people, pets, buildings, etc.
Q: How do you price your work?
A: There are many factors that go into the pricing; complexity of subject matter–single figure or multiple figures, time involved in creating the most exact likeness possible, size of painting (8X10, 12X16 etc. or customized/non-standard size).
Q: Has anyone ever told you your paintings are very lifelike?
A: Yes, all the time. I’ve even had appraisers tell people my art was not original work on canvas because it looked too real.
Q: If someone wants a painting and not sure what to get, do you offer advice?
A: Yes, I can make suggestions, but the ultimate purchase is up to the customer.
Q: Do you have paintings already in stock?
A: No. Everything is done to order, even if it’s a sample on the website. That makes every painting unique.
